About Me

I’m a scholar, student, educator, and former community organizer.

As a doctoral student in Ethnic Studies at UC San Diego, my research examines drug war capitalism, urban counterinsurgency and everyday militarism in Central America, Mexico, and the United States.

I’m also a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Chronic Pain warrior, and I write about intersectionality and disability justice issues.
